Kitty Hudson is an art historian and writer specialising in modern British art. Having studied at Edinburgh University, the Courtauld Institute and the University of East Anglia, she has worked at Christie’s, Jubilee Auctions and as a freelance arts journalist and consultant. Particular areas of interest include British and European art, fashion and culture in the early 20th century.
I like your comment on Arikha’s work…I admire the painter since I discovered his work in the seventies in Paris. He was the key figure in the ‘Nouvelle subjectivité’ advocated by Jean Clair.
